A concept for a water bottle packaging, called WOTER.
This project came into being the year I caught up with my advanced technical college entrance qualification.
The task was to design a container for a liquid of our choice.
I decided to create a cubic shape through which you could grab and see since I've never seen such a bottle before and I was curious to see how it would work out.
As a bonus our lecturer added that if we wanted (and were able to) we could also create a packaging design and branding for the bottle.
As a person who loves to drink just pure water I knew from the beginning that my project should result with a water bottle packaging.
After having my concept sketches finished it was quite obvious that the branding and packaging design should go hand in hand.
The A in water is replaced with an O which has the shape of the bottle. The rest of the custom typeface is based on a grid resulting from the measurements of the bottle.
On the backside of the bottle is featured the amount of water. 1 Liter. The actual volume of the bottle is around 970ml.
