Three fictional posters to advertise the city of Barcelona, Spain.

As final year trip in my training as graphic designer we visited Barcelona for 5 days and we were told beforehand that we should take a lot of photos of the city because there would be a project with that material when we came back (click here to see some of my favorites).

It turned out that we should make a series of (three) posters for/about the city of Barcelona to advertise them and make tourists want to travel and spent their holidays there.

The endresult were three posters, each showing one of Barcelonas features; the urban "jungle" with all its parks, the sea which plays a huge role in Barcelonas image and its significant architecture.

But my idea didn't stop there and so I went a little further.
You may have already noticed but the used background pictures in the posters aren't in their original size but instead they are an enlargement of a much bigger picture.
The idea behind that was that the person who was looking at the poster would then actually open the shown link bein curious, inform himself about the city and maybe even travel there.
